GRINDSTED® CMC is used as a woof trimming agent replacing traditional starch paste materials. GRINDSTED® CMC can reduce the pollution of woof during sizing and desizing.

Furthermore GRINDSTED® CMC can form a membrane on woof to reduce the signs of "drop woof" and "decollation".

GRINDSTED® CMC can also be used as printing material in the dye trimming industry and can improve hydrophilic force and osmosis force of dye material, making dying more even and reducing chromatism.

GRINDSTED® CMC is a good active additive in synthetic detergents due to the following qualities:

GRINDSTED® CMC effectively capture the dirt removed by the detergent. It also allow to control the moisture of the powder and can avoid powder caking. In case of liquid detergent, high viscosity GRINDSTED® CMC allow a good control of the final viscosity.
